User management: Approval workflows now cover user tags and status changes
User tags, KYC status, and user state changes can now go through your maker-checker approval workflow, the same as other fields already supported. When a change needs approval, the field shows a pending-approval indicator until an authorized approver accepts or rejects it, and the review screen shows both the current and proposed values before anyone signs off.
User management: Customizable status change reasons
KYC status and user status reasons are no longer limited to a fixed dropdown. Configure your own under Settings > Users > Status change reasons, the same way you already customize alert and case reasons. This lets your reason lists match how your team actually investigates and documents status changes, instead of relying on Flagright's defaults.
Screening: Ongoing screening now updates three times a day
Ongoing screening results now refresh from KYC6 every 8 hours instead of every 24 hours, so changes to a screening list reach your account sooner. This applies automatically to all ongoing screening checks — there's no setting to configure.
Screening: Users table for screening shadow rules
Shadow rules for screening now show which users were hit by the rule. Transaction screening shadow rules show both a users table and a transactions table. This gives you visibility into what a shadow rule would catch before you decide whether to turn it on.
Transaction risk scoring: Overrides and exclusions for TRS risk factors
You can now override or exclude individual transaction risk scoring (TRS) risk factors, the same way you already can for consumer and business risk factors. An override or exclusion on a TRS risk factor applies only to that transaction — it doesn't affect the customer risk assessment (CRA). When multiple overriding TRS risk factors apply to the same transaction, their weighted averages determine that transaction's final risk score, the same way overriding risk factors are combined for CRA.
See our Risk scoring guide on overriding and exclusions of risk factors.
Management API: Secondary country fields for businesses
Businesses can now record more than one registration country, tax residence country, or country of nationality:
secondaryRegistrationCountryandsecondaryTaxResidenceCountry— new fields oncompanyRegistrationDetailssecondaryCountryOfNationality— new field onuserDetails
See our API documentation for implementation details.
Management API: Alert webhooks include rule nature
ALERT_OPEN and ALERT_CLOSED webhook payloads now include the triggering rule's nature. This lets your team route or prioritize alerts on the receiving end based on the kind of rule that triggered them, without an extra API call back to Flagright.
See our API documentation for implementation details.
Case management: Narrative templates for SARs
When preparing a SAR, you can now select from narrative templates configured in case management instead of writing the report from scratch. Templates are available for both standard SARs and FinCEN SARs, and the selected template's text is inserted directly into the SAR narrative field, where you can still edit it before submitting.
See our Narrative template guide attached.
Analytics: Filter the Rules Hit card by rule
The Rules Hit card on the analytics dashboard now has a rule filter, so you can narrow it down to one or more specific rules.
Custom rules: List support for the stopwords function
The stopwords function can now reference one or more existing lists, in addition to manually typed words. Items in the selected lists are treated as stopwords during evaluation, so you can maintain a shared set of exclusions in one list and reuse it across multiple rules instead of retyping it each time. Items in the selected lists are treated as stopwords during evaluation.
See our Stopword configuration guide attached.
AI Agents: Rule type column added to the agents table
The AI Agents table now shows the rule type each agent was created for, and you can sort by it. This makes it easier to find the agents tied to a specific rule type as your list of agents grows.
