New UI/UX for rules engine
Enhanced FinCEN SAR frontend experience
The frontend experience for FinCEN Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) filing has been fully redesigned. The underlying schema has been extended to support a new UI, improving form accuracy, workflow efficiency, and adherence to official FinCEN XML/PDF guidelines.
Smart data population
The system now automatically looks up and populates the previous BSA ID for the filed entity, replacing manual or randomised entry.
Dynamic form logic and validation
Strict validations have been introduced for concurrent report types β for example, Standard and Joint Filing are permitted together, while Correct/Amend and Continuing Activity are not. Fields dynamically become mandatory or are greyed out based on user selections, such as when "Subject Unknown" is selected or when switching between Initial and Cumulative reports.
Enhanced joint filing support
Users can now add multiple filing institution details to support joint filing requirements.
Strict compliance and accuracy
Form numbering has been updated to mirror official FinCEN guides. Dropdown options β including "Relationship of the subject to an institution" have been refined, and file attachments are now restricted to the required CSV format.
Workflow and stability improvements
Transitions between Draft, Edit, and View modes have been smoothed, submission errors have been resolved, Copilot integration stability has been improved, and dedicated FinCEN SAR templates have been introduced to accelerate the filing process.
Exporting selected rules update
Previously, users could only import and export all rules. Now, users can now select and unselect rules that they would like to export from the console within the JSON file.
